Dental Implants

Dental implants are the best available method of replacing missing teeth. No other tooth replacement offers the strength, durability or longevity as implants. When a tooth is lost, an implant is a root-shaped titanium post that is surgically placed in the area of the missing root. The implant can then support a crown, bridge or denture, which attaches to the implant to function as teeth do. Dental implants restore clear speech, full chewing capability and the appearance of a full smile.

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns rebuild the exterior enamel of teeth that are structurally weak or compromised from cracks, decay, old fillings or damaged from wear. Crowns can be used to reinforce weakened teeth, reconstruct teeth that have fractured or they can anchor dental bridges and dental implants. Dr. Galli will decide which material and design is the best for the tooth that is being restored. He offers CEREC same-day crowns which can be designed, fabricated and placed in a single visit.

Dental Bridges

Dental bridges are used to replace missing teeth. Where there is a space, the teeth on either side are prepared for crowns which are then joined together with an artificial tooth that “bridges” the gap. Bridges rebuild the area and prevent the surrounding teeth from shifting into the gap and creating gum or bite problems.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

Dr. Galli can restore health, function and beauty to virtually any smile. In the case of complex or unique dental problems, it is sometimes necessary or desirable to completely restore the mouth and its function. This reconstruction usually combines restorative and esthetic dental procedures to restore, rebuild and recreate teeth in their position, esthetics, strength, function and longevity. Full mouth reconstruction is tailored to the needs of the individual patient, and is carefully planned out prior to beginning any care. Accordingly, the patient knows what to expect and the end results are comfortable, strong, natural in appearance, and long-lasting.

Fillings

Fillings restore teeth that have decay or minor structural damage (chips or cracks). Dr. Galli uses tooth-colored filling material, which blends in flawlessly with the surrounding tooth structure to repair teeth to their natural, healthy state.

Inlays and Onlays

Inlays and onlays are restorations that rebuild damaged teeth where a filling would not be appropriate. If the tooth has a moderate amount of damage, but still has some healthy, strong areas as well, these custom pieces of porcelain rebuild the damaged area while leaving the healthy area untouched.
